Our relationships have much to do with our mental health!
Welcome to My Blog!

Allow me to introduce myself and why I've started this blog. You'll catch most of my bio on the first page of this website but for this purpose I can give you a brief introduction.
I've been working as a clinical psychologist for about 23 years and as I'm now in semi-retirement mode, I figured it was time to focus on the other passion I have, which is writing.
I've always loved my work as my greatest passion in life has been to help people overcome obstacles and find happiness within themselves. There is nothing more thrilling to me than to see people develop and thrive following unfortunate events that have unravelled their lives. Many times this has been through no fault of their own but due to being mistreated in some way, often during the early years.
For the past two years, while continuing with my therapy work part-time, I've been writing my first book. This idea was born from taking notice of the many things that cause people to struggle with their mental health. It seemed to come down to their relationship with themselves and this often was accompanied with broken relationships, some occurring many times over.
My quest now, through my writing, is to provide some empowering tips that may support people in their relationship journey---including the relationship they have with themselves.
This website and blog are outcomes of my writing journey, the book, the meditations, the blog and whatever else comes along. I'll look forward to sharing lots of gems with you along the way and look forward to this journey with you.
