"Laugh kookaburra laugh," as the song goes and us Aussies love our kookaburras. Their main feature of course is their laugh as it is just so infectious. You can't help but mimic them when in the outdoors. The echo of bird calls through the air brings a smile to anyone's face, even starting conversations between strangers, as though they do it on purpose to instigate connections. Haha the laugh is on us! They come up close sometimes too, like this little one here!
