An owl in flight is a sight to behold! What a majestic creature that not only symbolises wisdom and protection, but also graces the skies with such beauty. This painting emerged out of my love for owls and their calming influences that surround our neighbourhood. Owls will appear close by at times and stay for days and then just disappear, as though they came to watch over you for a while. Such serenity.
