Abstract art follows the same principles as what is said of 'beauty,' that it is in the eye of the beholder. What speaks to one person may not relate to another. All is up to the interpretation of the viewer and what emotions are evoked by the painting. The artist's emotional energy, thoughts and intentions that were present when creating the painting may also impact on the viewers' impressions.
